What On Earth Am I Here For?  40 Day Spiritual Growth Campaign - Starting April 12th. The Sunday after Easter.

Church/Community-Wide Study

What On Earth Am I Here For? Church Wide Study and Teaching Series Begins April 12th - May 17th

Through weekend services, community group studies during the week and daily individual studies, our entire church family—children, students, and adults—will focus on the same spiritual themes for the six-week series period that runs from April 12th  and ends following the final weekend message on May 17th.

Imagine the impact on all of us when each person lives out the principles that we read about. This impact grows as each of us lives and shares in powerful community within our Bible studies and small groups, and reaches its peak when those groups come together to experience the power of the principles as an entire congregation!

There are three major components to this spiritual growth campaign:

1. Group Participation

The centerpiece of the campaign is encouraging the members of our congregation and community to experience true biblical community through participating in a Bible study group during this six week series. The interactive curriculum includes a Bible study taught on DVD by Pastor Rick Warren, followed by a discussion time where group members dig deep and apply the truths of the study to their lives. We have groups that will meet in various locations in the Creede area (including Sunday School classes at the church),  for every age group.

2. Individual Participation

Every day, we want each person to read one chapter in the “What On Earth Am I Here For?” and the applicable verses, staying in the Word for the 42 days

3. Weekend Service Participation

Each Sunday of the campaign, Pastor David will share a message that complements the group lesson that week:

As you prepare to participate in the church wide study, prayer will be the most important thing you can do. Prepare with prayer, plan with prayer, and implement with prayer. Without prayer, this campaign will be nothing more than several weeks of religious activities and will not have the lasting impact on the participants and our church.
